General One of the few road bike duathlons around, this event takes place late in the season at Knights Ferry. It is run by On Your Mark and there are no split times taken. The first run is two loops up and down a hill. The bike is out and back on rolling roads. In the definition of rollers in the dictionary, they can put the profile of this bike course. Never steep, never flat, just rollers. The second run is the same loop again once. My background I am a biker and I like time trials. I actually used this race as a time trialing practice. I did start running a little bit in the month before this race. This was my first duathlon. It was funny to start a race in a run. Result 1:33:55 12 of 22 in age group (30-39) 34 of 96 men How it went I set up my transition area and warmed up a little bit for the first run. There were about 150 racers at the start. The weather was perfect, a little on the cool side with some wind. The run was hard for me, as I am not used to running. I did the first 5k in 23:30.
