Open Water Clinic/Practice
FREE 4-clinic Tri-Series
Focus: Preparation for Stanford Treeathlon
Location: Westpoint Harbor (new
swim course for the Treeathlon)
(protected boat marina swim course - no waves !)
Meet at the Harbor
Masters's office at Westpoint Marina (directions link below).
Join us for these practice open water swims at the beautiful, new
Westpoint Marina !! These swims will be lifeguard monitored and we
will have at least one surf board alongside swimmers.
PLEASE OBSERVE ALL MARINA RULES:
- THERE IS NO SWIMMING ALLOWED IN THIS MARINA - we have special
permission
- Please do not swim without the group or our privileges will be taken
away
- SPEED LIMIT ON DIRT ROAD is 10mph; do not exceed this please!
- NO BIKES on the docks
- Stay off seeded grass area (on race day there will be special paths
to the transition area)
- Note: no public restrooms on site
Day/Times:
The following day/times attempt to mimic the same tides that we will
face on race day (March 7th, 2009).

# 1 -- January 24th, Saturday, start time: 9:30am
# 2 -- January 30th, Friday, start time: 4:00pm
# 3 -- February 7th, Saturday, start time: 9:00am
# 4 -- February 21st Saturday, start time: 8:30am (as part of
Practice Treeathlon)
Note: NO SWIMMING FEB 28TH - sailboat races all weekend.
