Get inspired for triathlon and an SVTC workout in this recent Living Healthy blog post, where journalist Daniel Gamberg observes a typical track workout, the club comraderie and the triathlon experience in general. The take away is everyone is welcome from new-to-the-sport to fast and experienced, you can find a training partner of equal ability.
Prospective members are welcome to try out a couple of club workouts before joining the club. These and the monthly meetings are a good way to meet people and get a better idea of SVTC activities. We ask that you print and fill out a liability waiver to bring to the first workout. Thanks.

This season's first NTTS (New To The Sport) workout is behind us but if you are waiting for the end of ski season before starting your training, that's ok. Just show up. NTTS has been a coached program evolving in our club for many years and it is geared for people who are new to triathlons. If you want to race your first triathon, are worried about keeping up in a bike ride or open water swim, or just want to start a training program, the extra coaching will give you the confidence and ability to mix in with the regular swim, bike and run workouts. One hard thing when starting triathlons is figuring out where to start and that is what NTTS is all about.

Missed the meeting? Here is a copy of the Member Information Packet that describes many of the SVTC activities introduced for 2013.
You click on the JOIN button at the top of the SVTC webpage to get to a page detailing membership rates for next year. Fill out the registration forms if you are new, or renew if already a member. Purchasing memberships works like a web store; the membership is added to your shopping cart, you create a web order and then go to checkout to submit payment.
