It's our annual season kickoff meeting where we welcome new and prospective members, Here's the chance to meet SVTC members and coaches, hear about our training programs, and talk to many of our club sponsors and local race directors. This is our largest meeting of the year and will have our raffle and plenty of refreshments.

If you know anyone who would like to do triathlons please make sure they attend the SVTC open house!

This is going to be a fun meeting. Our guest speaker is Eric Gilsenan, longtime triathlete, coach, event coordinator and race announcer.  A true specialist in the Escape from Alcatraz race. Also a short talk by Penni Bengtson of Finishline Productions and one of our sponsors, Powerbar, will also be there to give their thoughts on training nutrition.

For our July meeting:

First on the agenda is the election of board members for next year.  Anyone interested in any of the board positions is welcome to nominate themselve. See the previous posting on links to do this.

Our speaker this month will be Matt Fitzgerald an author of numerous running and triathlon books and articles.  He will be discussing topics in his latest two books, Racing Weight and Mind Body Running.

To further entice you we will have pizza and beverages and at the end of the meeting our raffle.

Everyone welcome to our monthly club meeting.  Our guest speaker is Carl Guardino, President of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Carl is a triathlete and founder of the Silicon Valley Turkey Trot.

Enjoy meeting your fellow club members.  Stay for the raffle.  And if at all possible please let Robert know you are volunteering for our Silicon Valley Kids Triathlon, coming very soon.

As usual SVTC invites all interested people and members to our club meeting. Our speaker this month is Brad Kerns who promises an entertaining talk. Brad after retiring as a champion triathlete, has coached, served as a motivational instructor for local companies and now runs Brad Ventures in the Sierra foothills at Auburn.  He is race director of the Auburn World's Toughest Half Triathlon (or at least one of them).

Join us for our annual SVTC Open House Meeting!  Come find out what SVTC is all about and if you are already a member please spread the word ( print the attached flyer and give it to friends and family or post in your local fitness center ). We will be introducing our coaches and training programs.  Many of our club sponsors will be there as well with lots of giveaways.

The meeting will be in the Orchard Room located in the Senior Building, Sunnyval Community Center Complex (same as last year).
