Join our NTTS friends led by Coach Veronika for an easy pace no drop ride from Los Alto Luckys‘ going out behind the B-riders. North along Foothill, thru Stanford dish and golf course to Alpine Road. Left at Alpine (REGROUP) and an effort climb 4 miles up to Roberts Woodside at Portola Road corner. Re-group and refuel at Roberts Woodside supermarket. Return via same. 24 miles round trip, approximately 2 hours. See the B-ride post for meet up location.

This week‘s ride takes in King‘s Mountain (c. 4 mile climb), down and out to Water Temple, return via Sandhill (56 miles, 2700ft climb, roll at 9.15 AM).

TNR is baaaack! Choice of route Hills or Fast. Meet at 5:15pm on Lucky‘s parking lot by the Goodwill truck. Wheels roll by 5:20pm. No beginners please, plan for 20-25mi and up to 2,000ft of climbing.

Note: this is NOT a no-drop ride, it is not recommended for beginners or first timers
Alternate pre-race option: out and back on Foothill - as far as needed.

Safety Rules:
1. Helmets are mandatory.
2. Obey all traffic laws.
3. Whenever you use aerobars, you are subject to USAT draft rules. No one within 3 bike lengths in front or behind you.
4. Be sure to communicate: don‘t hit the brakes, turn, change your line, etc. without hand and/or verbal signals. Let people know what you‘re doing before you do it.
5. No earphones: communication runs both ways.
6. Stay to the right, let people pass you.
7. Don‘t draft too closely behind people if you are unsure of yours or theirs riding skill.
