About this event

We are almost to the end of the season.  We'll do another late summer fun ride on the other side of the hill.

Our Queen ride this week is climbing West Alpine.  Departing from Alpine Inn with the C-group, we'll head up OLH. Regrouping at top, then drop down via West OLH, and merge in with hwy 84. Take a brief reststop at Old La Honda water fountain.  Turning Left onto Pescadero Creek Rd, and head into the old grove forest climbing W. Alpine road. Regroup at the top, then turn left on to Skyline, and drop down to Alice for water refill and bathroom if needed.  Head down Hwy 84 at your own pace and either head towards Woodside Village Hub coffee or straight back to Alpine Inn for lunch.

Disclaimer:  This is a somewhat challenging ride. Make sure you are self sufficient and have the direction to get back to the start. Some areas will not have cell services.  However, there will be plenty of follow bikers around for assistance if needed.

This is a "B rated" ride, riders need to be able to keep up with the pack at a pace of ~16 mph rolling terrain. We'll have a few re-group points along the way. However, this is not a "no-drop" ride. Please download the route onto your Garmin and be able to navigate home on your own.
