Jim Shapiro from Veo will present on Monday evening.  Veo is a new paradigm in sweat management that has found early adopters among triathletes, cyclists, runners, basketball players, even hockey players and outdoor power equipment operators.  Jim developed Veo based on personal need while mountain biking.  
Veo is a slim adhesive strip, worn just above the brow line, that channels sweat away from your eyes and glasses.  It has numerous advantages over headbands and other products, including higher effectiveness at keeping sweat at bay and allowing the wearer to stay cooler.  Jim will talk about various aspects of sweat physiology (“everything you wanted to know about sweat but were afraid to ask”) as well as introduce Veo Strips.  He will have free samples for everyone in attendance.

Jim Shapiro is a medical device venture capitalist. For 30 years, Jim has helped companies
bring advanced medical devices and solutions to market. Jim has also long supported
youth sports and fitness and most recently led the redevelopment of playing fields in the
Presidio of San Francisco. As an avid mountain biker, Jim created Veo to help make his
rides more comfortable and safer.
